Third of three fanart pieces I did as an ode to webcomics. This one features Emily MacArthur from Misfile and Noel from Least I Could Do, which are radically different webcomics indeed.

I realized something as I tried mimicking the style of Chris Hazelton, author and artist of Misfile: there is a fine line between my style and his. By the time I was finished, I looked closely at my picture, then the page of the comic I was using as a reference, and decided I could have done it completely without reference. *shrug* Oh well.

Noel, on the other hand, is another story - Lar DeSousa from LICD is an amazing artist who follows a trend that I noticed in my studies of these different artists' styles: webcomic artists who update more than three times a week like to make things SIMPLE.

I like this one the most out of my Odes because Emily is so much my style.
